In this paper, the previously unknown male of Mylabris parumpicta (Heyden, 1883) is described and figured. The original description of this endemic species was based on three female specimens collected from Elburz Mountains. Additional distributional records for M. parumpicta are provided to improve the current knowledge about its occurrences across Iran.

This survey was conducted as a taxonomic work on the species of the tribe Phaeogenini (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae, Ichneumoninae)in North central Iran during March to November 2010 and 2011. Nine species belonging to six genera were identified, of which two genrea (i.e. Oronotus Wesmael, 1845 and Stenodontus Berthoumieu, 1897) and four species, Dicaelotus erythrostoma Wesmael, 1845, Dicaelotus pudibundus (Wesmael, 1845), Oronotus binotatus (Gravenhorst, 1829), Stenodontus marginellus (Gravenhorst, 1829) are newly recorded from Iran. This work raises the number of Phaeogenini of Iran to 27 species and 13 genera. An updated list of the species in tribe Phaeogenini and detailed morphological characters of newly recorded species are also provided.

During a faunistic survey of the jumping plant-lice (Hemiptera: Psylloidea) in the Iranian province of Kerman in spring 2015, Cacopsylla dissimilis (Baeva) comb. nov. was collected on Salix pycnostachya. This species was previously known only from Tajikistan. It is reported here for the first time from Iran. The host species, Salix pycnostachya, is also newly recorded. We provide detailed morphological descriptions of adults and fifth instar immatures, and discuss differences to closely related species, in particular Cacopsylla nigrita (Zetterstedt).

The subfamily Orthocentrinae comprises a diverse group of ichneumonid parasitoid wasps. The species of three genera of the Orthocentrus genus-group (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae, Orthocentrinae) was studied in northern Iran: Batakomacrus Kolarov, Plectiscus Gravenhorst and Stenomacrus Förster. A total of 847 specimens of these genera were collected from Alborz, Tehran, Qazvin, Gilan and Mazandaran provinces using Malaise traps during 2010-2011. Nine species including Batakomacrus caudatus (Holmgren, 1858), Plectiscus agilis (Holmgren, 1858), P. minutus (Holmgren, 1858), Stenomacrus carbonariae Roman, 1939, S. curvicaudatus (Brischke, 1871), S. deletus (Thomson, 1897), S. exserens (Thomson, 1898), S. merula (Gravenhorst, 1829) and S. minutissimus (Zetterstedt, 1838) are recorded for the first time from Iran. Their phenology, seasonal abundance, adult emergence period, distribution and altitudinal changes on two northern and southern slopes of the Alborz Mountains of Iran are provided. Our data showed that the Caspian Hyrcanian forests at the northern slope of the Alborz Mountains inhabit a more diverse and higher abundant community of Orthocentrus genus-group than the southern one.

In the present study, thirty specimens of Megaspilidae (Hymenoptera, Ceraphronoidea) were collected by Malaise-traps from different area of Fars province in southern Iran. Three species namely, Dendrocerus laticeps (Hedicke, 1929), D. perlucidus Alekseev, 1983 and Conostigmus fasciatipennis Kieffer, 1907 are new records for Iran.
