Identification through morphological taxonomic keys and comparison with previously named specimens in the Hayk Mirzayans Insect Museum (HMIM) confirmed a new record. This is the first report of the genus and species of cricket <em>Arachnocephalus vestidos</em> Costa, 1855 from Iran. This insect has been reported from west to southwest Palearctic so far. The specimen is deposited in HMIM of the Iranian Research Institute of Plant Protection (IRIPP). The detailed morphological characteristics of the family, genus and species, as well as a key to identify the genera and species of scaly crickets in Iran is provided. So far, three species of three genera belonging to Mogoplistidae are reported from Iran. اواسط شهریور 1401 و در نزدیکی ساحل ماسه‌ای رودخانۀ نکا در شمال ایران، به روش تورزدن روی گل‌آذین بوته‌های کاهوک (.<em>Lactuca serriola</em> L) در میان بوته‌های تمشک وحشی (.<em>Rubus idaeus</em> L) و انار وحشی (.<em>Punica granatum</em> L)، نمونه‌ای جیرجیرک جمع‌آوری شد که بررسی توسط کلیدهای شناسایی شکل‌شناسی و مقایسه با نمونه‌های از قبل تعیین نام شدۀ موزۀ حشرات هایک میرزایانس رکورد جدید جنس و گونه را تایید کرد. این اولین گزارش جنس و گونۀ جیرجیرک <em>Arachnocephalus vestidos </em>Costa, 1855 از ایران است. این گونه تاکنون از غرب تا جنوب غرب پالئارکتیک گزارش شده بود. نمونۀ فوق در موزۀ حشرات هایک میرزایانس مؤسسۀ تحقیقات گیاه‌پزشکی کشور نگهداری می‌شود. مشخصات تفکیکی شکل‌شناسی خانواده، جنس و گونه و همچنین کلید شناسایی جنس‌ها و گونه‌های جیرجیرک فَلسی در ایران ارائه شده است. تاکنون سه گونه از سه جنس متعلق به Mogoplistidaeاز ایران گزارش شده است. https://jesi.areeo.ac.ir/article_128396_cb842870496a34330bb8dbe35fdfaed4.pdf
