References Style

Refererences style of the JESI is based on the "American Psychological Association " ( APA).

All published material should be cited as references, but unpublished data, article, or personal communications are expected to appear through the main text.

If citations are given at the beginning or in the middle of a sentence, then it should be written as below.

Last name (Year)

Last Name A & Last Name B (1999)

Last Name et al. (1985)

In case of simultaneous reference to several sources, the sources in parentheses are sorted from bottom to top and by ";" be distinguished from each other, e.g. (Davatchi et al., 1969; Behdad, 1996).

Authors can automatically format references from Endnote manager software using JESI Endnote style. The files that are compatible with Windows OS can be found here. All references in the text must be in the reference list and vice versa. In the text, reference cite should be as:

Shojaei 1986

Radjabi 1992, 1993

Shojaei 1986; Rajabi, 1992, 1993

Bayat- Asadi, 1990a, 1990b”.

If a journal article has a DOI, include the DOI in the reference. If the journal article does not have a DOI but does have a URL, include the URL of the article at the end of the reference.
