First report of the aphid Tinocallis kahawaluokalani (Hem.: Aphididae) from Iran

Abstract

The aphid Tinocallis kahawaluokalani is reported here for the first time from Iran. The aphid specimens were collected on Crape myrtle bushes, Lagerstroemia spp. (Lythraceae), in the west of Mazandaran province in 2017. The species identification was confirmed by Dr. Ali Rezwani from Iranian Research Institute of Plant Protection.
