A new armored scale species from Iran (Hemiptera: Coccomorpha: Diaspididae)

Abstract

A new armored scale species, Aspidiotus mousavii sp. nov. (Hemiptera: Coccomorpha: Diaspididae) is described and illustrated. The specimens were collected on Matthiola revoluta (Brassicaceae) in Semnan province, Iran.
