First report of Camponotidea saundersi (Hemiptera, Heteroptera, Miridae) from Iran

Abstract

A faunal study on mirid bugs was carried out in western part of Kurdistan province during 2016-2017. Among collected species, Camponotidea saundersi (Puton, 1874) is reported for the first time from Iran. In this study description of species, male and female habitus and a taxonomical identification key for species of Camponotidea found in Iran are provided. The identified specimens were deposited in the insects collection of the Natural History Museum of University of Guilan, Rasht, Iran.

Abstract [Persian]

مطالعة فونستیک روی سن­ های میریده در بخش غربی استان کردستان طی سال­های 2016-2017 انجام شد. از نمونه ­های جمع­ آوری شده گونه Camponotidea saundersi (Puton, 1874) برای اولین بار در ایران گزارش می­شود. در این مطالعه، توصیف جنس نر و ماده این گونه و کلید شناسایی برای گونه­ های گزارش شده جنس Camponotidea از ایران ارائه شده است. نمونه­ های جمع­آوری شده در کلکسیون حشرات موزه تاریخ طبیعی دانشگاه گیلان نگه­داری می­شوند
