Journal of Entomological Society of Iran (JESI), the first and oldest scientific journal of Iranian entomology publications (founded 1973) (Abbreviated title: J.Entomol.Soc.Iran), is a peer-reviewed research journal published quarterly by the Entomological Society of Iran (ESI). The journal publishes original research papers, monographs, review papers, short communications, and/or scientific notes dealing with all branches of entomology.

The JESI is one of the core journals of the (ISC), which is also indexed in the Scopus.The average period of the review process is about four weeks and the time to render a first decision averages about six days.

The journal complies with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) rules and regulations in publishing articles (https://publicationethics.org/).
