First report of cotton thistle leaf-miner, Pegomya terebrans (Rondani) (Diptera: Anthomyiidae) from Iran.

Abstract

The leaf-miner fly, Pegomya terebrans (Rondani, 1817), is newly recorded from Iran. It was collected during surveys on biocontrol agents of Onopordum acanthium L. and O. leptolepis DC. (Asteraceae) in Urmia region, North West of Iran. The association of leaf-mining fly and two species of above mentioned cotton thistle is new.

مگس مینوز Pegomya terebrans (Rondani) (Diptera: Anthomyiidae) برای اولین بار از ایران گزارش می‌شود. نمونه-های مگس فوق در طول بررسی‌های مرتبط با عوامل مهار زیستی دو گونه از علف‌های هرز خارپنبه به نام‌های Onopordum acanthium L. و O. leptolepis DC. (Asteraceae) در منطقه‌ی ارومیه به دست آمدند. ارتباط تغذیه‌ای این مگس مینوز با میزبان‌های گیاهی ذکر شده نیز برای اولین بار گزارش می‌شود.
