Tenothrips ononidis (Thysanoptera: Thripidae): first record from Iran

Abstract

The sixth species of genus, Tenothrips namely Tenothrips onondis (zur Strassen) has ben recorded from Iran for the first time. Relevant illustrations are provided.

ششمین گونه از جنس Tenothrips با نام Tenothrips ononidis (Bournier) ­­برای نخستین بار از ایران گزارش می­شود. وجود یک جفت اندام حسی کامپانی­فرم روی پس گُرده و نابرابری جفت موهای گوشه کناری پیش گُرده، این گونه را از دیگر گونه­های گزارش شده از ایران جدا می­کند. نگاره‌های قسمت­های مهم گونه یاد شده ارائه شده است.
