The first occurrence of two parasitoid species belonging to the family Pteromalidae (Hym.: Chalcidoidea) in alfalfa fields of Maragheh (Azarbaijan Sharghi province) are reported: 1- Halticopterina moczari Erdös, which was collected in 22 June 2003, and 2- Trichomalus rufinus (Walker) which was collected in 3 August 2003. Both species were collected on Medicago sativa by the second author.
