Parasitic wasp, Pterandrophysalis levantina Nowicki (Hym.: Trichogrammatidae), new record of the genus and species from Iran

Abstract

During a parasitoids sampling in Arasbaran forest in East Azarbaijan province, a male specimen of an interesting Trichogrammatid wasp (Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea) was collected.  This specimen was collected on Matricaria camomilla L. (Asteraceae) in July 2020. It was identified as Pterandrophysalis levantina Nowicki, 1935. This is the first record of the genus and species from Iran.

طی نمونه‌برداری‌های به عمل آمده از جنگل‌های ارسباران، در استان آذربایجان‌شرقی، یک نمونه جالب جنس نر از خانواده Trichogrammatidae (Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea) جمع‌آوری شد. این نمونه از روی گیاه بابونه، .Matricaria camomilla L متعلق به تیره Asteraceae در اواخر تیرماه سال 1399 جمع‌آوری شد. نمونه جمع‌آوری شده تحت عنوان Pterandrophysalis levantina Nowicki, 1935 شناسایی شد. این نخستین گزارش جنس و گونه مذکور از ایران می‌باشد.
