Aceria resedae Lotfollahi sp. nov. (Acari: Eriophyidae) from Resedaceae in Iran

Abstract

A new eriophyid species, Aceria resedae Lotfollahi sp. nov. was found on Reseda luteola L. (Resedaceae) during the survey of eriophyoid mite fauna of Maku county, West Azerbaijan province, Iran, on summer 2020. This is the first eriophyoid species found on the plants of the family Resedaceae and herein described and illustrated.
