Journal of Entomological Society of Iran (JESI), the first and oldest scientific journal of Iranian entomology publications (founded 1973) (Abbreviated title: J.Entomol.Soc.Iran), is a peer-reviewed research journal published quarterly (first week of January, April, July and October) by the Entomological Society of Iran (ESI). The journal publishes original research papers, monographs, review papers, short communications, and/or scientific notes dealing with all branches of entomology.

The JESI is indexed in the Scopus and one of the core journals of the (ISC).The time to render a first decision averages about six days and average period of the review process is about four weeks.

The JESI is devoted to maintaining the highest ethical standards by strictly adhering to the protocols outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). 

JESI is a free format (initial freestyle), free fee (no APC), and Open Access journal. The JESI doesn’t charge any fee for submission, evaluation and process the manuscript. It is a open access journal and all papers sine 1973 are free without any subscription.
